Our Virtual Coffeehouse is designed to create convenient learning opportunities for active duty service members and veterans at any stage of their career exploration. The Virtual Coffee House is just one way TTT participants, field supervisors, coaches, and staff can communicate and support each other. We will feature tools and resources on the Bulletin Board. On the Open Mic, veterans who are teachers and TTT “graduates” who were recently placed in schools will share their experiences with the program and their new careers. Future posts will include all aspects of the employment process, including writing resumes, job interview skills, and finding available job opportunities; interviews with principals and superintendents; lesson plan development; teacher tools; classroom management; specific issues affecting children; and teacher pedagogy.
